Deploy the SDS laptop as a replacement for the EXCON computer
Requirements
CASE 12 | Scenario Development Station and network cable A
EXCON | With connected positioning system and access point
Take the Scenario Development Laptop – with SUIT installed – from Case 12 | SUIT Development Station and
connect it with the charger to an electrical socket.
Make sure the EXCON computer is powered off. Subsequently turn off the orange power button on the back of the EXCON and wait 10 seconds.
Afterwards turn the orange power button on again.
Connect networkcable A to the networkport on the laptop and to one of the white marked networkports on the EXCON.
Check if the positioning system and the access points have been connected to the correct ports on the EXCON.
Remove the external SSD and the headset from the EXCON and connect these to the SDS Laptop.
Double-click the SUIT icon on the Desktop of the Scenario Development Laptop to start SUIT and check
through use the systemcheck if the system works.
